Health Insurance Enrollment

ChapCare provides health insurance enrollment services. Covered California and Medi-Cal enrollment services are available. People interested in enrolling in the Los Angeles County My Health LA Program can do so at any of our health center locations.

If you live in Pasadena or Monrovia, please call 626.486.9729 to schedule your appointment with our Certified Enrollment Counselor in-person or via phone.

If you live in El Monte, please call 626.486.9696 to schedule your appointment with our Certified Enrollment Counselor in-person or via phone.

Health Insurance Enrollment

ChapCare’s Certified Enrollment Counselors can help you enroll in a Covered California Qualified Health Plan, Medi-Cal, or the Los Angeles County My Health LA Program. The Counselors will walk you through your health insurance options, and help complete your application to access a health insurance plan.

Post-Enrollment Support

Once you have enrolled in health insurance, in some instances, you will need to select a health plan and/or medical home. ChapCare’s Certified Enrollment Counselors can assist you with all of your post-enrollment questions, and help you navigate the health insurance system to effectively use your health insurance.

ChapCare currently offers free health insurance enrollment services, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 12pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm, in-person through telephone appointments. 

In-Person Appointments are available in Pasadena at the Altadena Public Libraries the third Tuesday of every month in the morning and afternoons, and at the Kings Villages on Fair Oaks on Thursdays from 8:00am – 5:00pm.  

In Monrovia on Wednesdays from 8:00am – 5:00pm, at our ChapCare Lime clinic.

And in El Monte, at ChapCare Peck: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
